>>Why  modelization?
top

Any simulation or business game is based on mathematical modelization. This model is at the core of the system. Starting with economical, management, technical…decisions it enables to provide results taking the form of sales forecasts, human resources performance indices...

Since its creation Strat&Logic has developed its own modelizations enabling to simulate a great number of economical, behavioural… phenomena. These models are constantly in motion; we regularly adjust, correct, refine them in order to move as close as possible to the real phenomena without pretending to replicate them perfectly.

>>How to define modelization ?
Top

The design of a model follows 5 fundamental steps:

1

Identification of inputs

Collection of the set of decisions that will be taken by the model users.
It has to be exhaustive and also distanciate itself from the objective of the model. Submerging the user with low impact decisions may be detrimental to the priority pedagogical objective set during the launch of the design programme.

2 Identification of outputs

What value(s) has the model to feedback to the user? The number, quality and format given to the value(s) generated from the model need to be identified with great precision to INDUCE A PEDAGOGICAL PROCESS for the participant (creating a structured progression) and APPROXIMATING REALITY in the best possible way.

3 Identification of links/interactions between data

This phase is the most complex as it establishes the links between phases 1 and 2. A very detailed analysis of the business is often required. Experts are generally needed.

4

Coding of model

This phase corresponds to software development, using more or less complex algorithms.

We can realize the application in the language of your choice upon request

5

Testing of model

A comprehensive set of tests ensures the pertinence of the model, its reactions and adequacy with the priority pedagogical objective formulated.
The duration of tests depends upon the number of parameters involved, the complexity of deployed mathematical models...

>> How long does it take?
top
The realization of a complete simulator takes approximately 3 months from the agreement of the customer to the first on-site training session.

We are able to offer such a delivery time as we have developed over 10 years reliable techniques that allow to greatly reduce development times. We regularly offer the same tested ergonomics and save guarding mode... These « standard » modules allow us to spend most of our time writing the script and analyzing and coding the reactions of the model.

This development time may growth depending upon the requested volume of documentation (for participants, trainers…) and language of simulators/documents.

>>What is the price ?
top

A complete simulator with game controller, team interface, team documentation and trainer in a single language for use on a local network for example costs approximately 30 000 € value added tax excluded. We always take charge of the first product deployment and perform all technical operations up to the moment when the simulator can be installed and used without risk by the customer or tenderers.
